    Zoom Meeting

Submitted for SHRM and HRCI credit.

Maggie Moore, our April presenter, blew me away with her onboarding presentation when I lived in Florida and through the wonders of Zoom, she will present to us from Washington DC. I consider it the best guidance I've seen and I have incorporated the knowledge gained into how I brought people aboard for years. She's worked with organizations of all sizes and composition. If you want to set new hires up to succeed right out of the gate this is a presentation not to be missed. With so many people working remotely these days, remote onboarding is part of the presentation. Whether you're building an onboarding plan from the ground up or improving your existing plan, this is not to be missed. Maggie Moore shows you how to start off the investment in talent the right way.

We are very fortunate to have her able to present to us online. Her presentation will include information on remote onboarding as well, since we still have lots of people working outside the office.

Maggie Moore is a HR Business Partner with FMP Consulting, a human capital consulting firm based in the Washington, DC area. She has over 14 years of experience in human resources and human capital consulting across a wide variety of competency areas to include: onboarding, performance management, training design and delivery, survey design, recruitment/staffing, internship programs, and executive/leadership development. She earned a M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA and a B.A. in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis. Maggie joined FMP in 2007 as a human capital consultant, transitioning to an internal focused HR Business Partner role in 2017. In her current role, she applies her diverse expertise in consulting, strategy, learning and development, and health and wellness to support FMP’s high-performance culture. She partners with leadership to sustain FMP’s dedication to client excellence by driving initiatives that promote high levels of employee engagement and retention; and FMP’s culture of continuous learning, wellness, and work-life effectiveness. She also works with the Internal Operations Strategy (IOS) Group to ensure the effective and efficient operation of FMP’s staffing, engagement, and talent management functions. In addition, in her shared role as HR lead, she supports FMP’s benefits and total compensation programs, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compliance.
